The refurbishment started in early December 2006 by completely removing the interior including all the carpets, underfelt and panels. The dash was removed along with all the wiring. The engine was removed (which was 2 litres) and replaced with a reconditioned 2.8 litre engine, the whole car was then rewired.

The interior has a new dash and all new door panels and new underfelt and carpet. This work has been carried out mainly by James from Ryedale Upholstery in Elvington (to go to his website click here) A new frame, which includes new rear glass windows, made from polished stainless steel holds up the new mohair hood.
